The term three holidays are now over and we are ready to start term 4.
This term our topic is called Te Wa Toi. This means it is time for art.

This term I am excited for manaiakalani because m looking forward

to seeing other classes movies.

This term we have athletics on I am looking forward to this because

we are going to do alot of thing.

This term I have some goals that I would like to achieve.

One of these goals are to have a better attitude towards my teacher.

to get good at my writing.

I am hoping to learn more about my math and reading.
i love two subject in school which are reading and math.

Naomi marshmallow challenge

Marshmallow Challenge

Walt: create a structured recount with correct tenses and punctuation.

Today me and my classmates did the marshmallow challenge our teacher explained to us what we
were doing. Then we had to get into groups of five then miss Parrant gave each group a bag that
had the thing we had to make the marshmallow tower with. Inside the bag had  25 spaghetti and and
string and also one marshmallow

So first me and my group ran to our table. my group didn’t have five people my group had
four people. Then we took our thing out of the bags and began to work on our tower.

Then we started with the tower first we stuck a piece of spaghetti on the table. Then we started working up the tower. We did the same introduction the we made it to the top.

Our  tower was becoming the Eiffel Tower. But apparently a girl in my group accidentally tied the top of the tower so tight. The spaghetti was too sensitive.That sadly our tower broke.

I felt good in the beginning because we were leading but the sadly my hopes dropped because my friend. Sadly Snapped our tower.

How to plant a seed

Today you will have had a chance to plant a seed in your very own planter. You now need to write instructions for someone else who wants to plant their own seeds. You need to use the planning space below to help you:

Equipment: What equipment will you need to plant a seed?

Seed,pot,soil,tarpaulin,little garding pot,pen to write our name on it.

Method: What are the steps required to plant a seed?

We layed out the tarpaulin then we hoped in 4 lines 5 people went first then i went the first thing we did we grabed a garding pot from our teacher miss parrant she wrote my name on the pot then we went and put some of the soil that was in a big container. We put our seed i grab me a rocket seed maybe 4 seeds i put it in garding pot then my teacher said to put soil in my pot me and my friend went to put some tap water there was  tray we had put our plant in.

Caring: What will you need to do to care for your seed so that it will grow?

When you are caring for your  plant is to water it everyday and put it outside my whole class of 30 or 28 student in my class that made them a plant luckly we all worte our name on it .

Questions: How long does it say that your plant will take to grow? How long do you think it will take to grow?

For a rocket seed i think it will take about 7 to 8 weeks to grow really big now in our class my plant is growing by far my plant is the widest one and i think it only been like 2 weeks.
